I am switching from more of just a regular bro-split type workout style to a more focused workout split. I have been working out for roughly 4 or 5 years. Evan and I are competitive people, so we both figured that once we’ve been working out for awhile, the next step is to compete in either powerlifting or bodybuilding.
I was recently going through my notes on my phone and I found a list of college tips I typed out for myself if I ever decided to go back to school. I probably will not do that, but it seems a waste for this info to just sit in my phone. So, here are my college tips and tricks that you may not have needed, but you now have.
Work, sleep, gym, eat is pretty much how our life goes right now haha. I do love our life together, but sometimes we need to shake it up a little. Here’s some ideas for how to get out of a rut and what we do to make life interesting!
As the saying goes, the early bird gets the worm. In this case, you want to start developing useful habits as early on in life as you can. I just put twenties here because I feel like we’ve focused these habits the most in our twenties, but started working on them in our teens. No matter how old you are, you can start developing these lifelong habits to better your life.
What you’re eating may not be at the forefront of your mind when you’re dating new people. In fact, it’s probably not the first thing you think about when you go on a date. But, if you have food allergies, intolerances, follow a specific diet based on physician orders, avoid meat for moral reasons, etc., then food is something you have to take into consideration when you go out.
These types of changes are just added on to the regular changes that you face in your life like moving, changing jobs, having kids, etc. So, what are some ways you can deal with these big life changes? Evan and I have been through a few and we have learned some coping skills for dealing with various changes life throws at us.
There are plenty of things that we do to keep our relationship healthy and progressing. Most of the stuff we do is kind of unconscious. Like we don’t really think about it. We just let our relationship grow and change. But, like everything, our relationship has taken effort and has required us to learn to love and express love in different ways.
